10th Annual Lydia Place Garage Sale"The Mother of All Garage Sales," benefiting Lydia Place’s moms and children, will be presented in August 2008 at the Sportsplex in Bellingham. "We offer thousands of items, including clothes, coats, toys, home furnishings and recreational equipment," said Teresa Josephson, Lydia Place's executive director. Lydia Place is seeking donated items that are in good condition for the garage sale. Lydia Place can’t accept computer monitors and towers, large appliances, tires, mattresses, paint, sharp implements such as knives, and personal products that have been opened.
