Lydia Place invites you to Hearts for Housing Virtual Gala & Auction
on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 from 6-7 pm PST.

For tickets and info visit:

This year is mission-critical, and Lydia Place needs your support to help ensure hundreds of children and their families experiencing homelessness have access to safe, stable, and secure housing and services in the year 2021 and beyond. Grab your spacesuit and your favorite earthling and prepare for liftoff as we take you on a space odyssey, forward in time, to our vision of a compassionate Earth where every human has a home and the opportunity to thrive.

Why this year’s mission is more critical than ever before & how to help.

Last year at Hearts for Housing, our community was able to come together and raise over $275k for families experiencing homelessness in our community. As we gathered together dressed to the nines, cocktail in one hand, sweetheart in the other, partying like it was the roaring 20’s, we couldn’t have imagined how drastically different our world was about to be in less than a month from that moment.
OR how much greater the need for your support would be.
Our community is undoubtedly stronger together, and that’s one of the reasons why we’ve decided to make this notoriously sold-out Valentine’s Day event FREE for everyone to attend this year. More than raising essential funds, year after year Hearts for Housing has been a special evening filled with love and hope for our community and each other. Even if you are unable to virtually join us on February 6th, there are additional ways you can support the success of our first ever Hearts for Housing virtual event. For more details please visit our official event page at
Join us on December 3rd at
FREE to attend!
Lydia Place invites you to a special evening filled with gratitude and holiday merriment as we recognize the local businesses and individuals who have gone above and beyond this year to support Lydia Place’s effort to end homelessness in our community.

Lydia Place invites you to attend their virtual art auction on Friday, May 8th from 4-6pm. Bid on dozens of exclusive art pieces donated by local artists and hear from Lydia Place staff and partners the importance of Lydia Place’s Mental Health Program. The event is free to attend, but register ahead of time to receive important event updates and faster entry into the auction.
Click here to register or donate a piece of art to the auction.
All proceeds of the event go to support Lydia Place programs and services.

Join us in the bounty of the season in our Gladstone Garden for our Annual Cider Press! All Lydia Place supporters (neighbors, volunteers, donors, partners) and families we serve are welcome. We will have fall fun festivities and tasty treats, apple cider straight from the press, and live music. This event is FREE for the entire community. Please RSVP by October 1st using our eventbrite page here.

Beach, blanket and a bonfire! Join us for a fun-filled evening lakeside at The MoonDance Inn on Lake Whatcom for a Summer Bonfire Beach Party.

Kick off your heels, grab a blanket (seriously, bring one with you!), sit by the fire and relax with some great food, drinks and amazing company.

Highlight of the event will be the Women’s Professional Network’s first-rate raffle, with all proceeds going to Lydia Place, as they support our effort to disrupt the cycle of homelessness and promote sustained independence for current and future generations.

How can you help? Volunteer for all or part of the day.

With the generous support of donors and local businesses, our community mobilizes supplies and services for over 500 neighbors in need each year at Bellingham High School. To make this happen, over 400 community volunteers and service providers are needed to support this effort. Lydia Place is a partner in this effort, and we would love you to join!  To see a list of volunteer opportunities and times please click here.

How you can help? Buy a ticket and come sail with us!

You are invited to attend our 2nd Annual Brews Cruise brought to you by NAIFA, or the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors if you did not already know. Beer, Hors de’oeuvre’s, and a BIG boat! What else do you need?

How you can help? Help to invite former board members, come and enjoy, help to run the event, or just come for the apples!

Join us in the garden for our annual cider press, and enjoy the bounty of the season along with neighbors, supporters and families we serve. A special addition this year will be the official ribbon cutting of our 2nd story and remodel – celebrating our Capital Campaign Strengthening Families, Building Futures and all the participants that made this project possible.
