Through the power of $5, $10, $25 (and beyond) monthly, and numerous one-time pledges, individuals in our community stepped up and raised their hands in response to ending homelessness for local families.

Random Acts, Misha Collins and Vicki Vantoch created a $65,000 #IWISHFORTHIS (read original story here) match challenge that asked local residents to come together to support Lydia Place in our commitment to end family homelessness. In return, they pledged to match dollar for dollar up to $65,000

You did it, and they are just as thrilled as Lydia Place to know that these critical funds will support short and long-term rental payment programs, and supplemental support for Lydia Place case management, parenting and mental health services – all critical components of disrupting the cycle of homelessness for children and their parents. Homelessness is a community problem that deserves a community solution.

From everyone at Lydia Place, we thank you for your support. One day, a short distance from now, ALL families will have a home, opportunity, and the chance to dream. Thank you for making those dreams possible.
